Introduction
Using new nimbleDataProPlus2 (NDPP2), you will get live update in SierraChart. You can start running NDPP2 in 2 minutes as explained below.
Download and Install NimbleDataProPlus2
Install NimbleDataProPlus2 normally on your desktop. During installation choose SierraChart as an option.
Register NimbleDataProPlus2
First time users will be asked to register their copy. Once users activates their copy by clicking on the activation link received over email, you can start using the product immediately. Free Trial is automatically activated to first time users.
Configuration
After installation of NimbleDataProPlus2, start login desk and login. After successfully login, start Sierra Chart and login using details provided by them.
Once you login to Sierra Chart, goto menu Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings as below :
Once you open “Data/Trade Service Settings” window, select the option “DTC Service [trading]” from dropdown as shown below:
In “DTC Service [trading]” window, enter Server Address and Ports as – 127.0.0.1:9090, Timezone as New Delhi (+5:30 IST) and Intraday Data storage Time Unit as 1 minute as per below screenshots :
Once Clicked on OK, SierraChart home screen will appear as below :
Process to view Chart will be as follow:
In SierraChart, goto menu File >> New/Open Intraday Chart. ( Or you can also press “ Ctrl+I “) as below :
Enter the name of the symbol as per your requirement as per given symbol naming convention:
You will get a various format charts as below :
Default Chart :
Candlestick Chart :
Line on Close Chart :
